pH Minus Powder – 1 kg
iopool pH Minus Powder is a pool water treatment designed to lower the pH when it becomes too high. Maintaining balanced pH helps disinfectants work effectively and contributes to comfortable swimming conditions.
Supplied in a 1 kg container, it is compatible with all types of pool treatment, as stated on the product label.
When should you use pH minus?
Use pH minus when your pool's measured pH is above the recommended range. Check your water twice a week or follow the recommendations in the iopool app to determine when an adjustment is needed.
How much pH minus should you use?
Reference dosage: 100 g per 10 m³ of pool water to lower the pH by approximately 0.1.
The amount required depends on pool volume, initial pH and water characteristics.
If the pH exceeds 7.8, adjust it gradually. The label recommends lowering the pH by no more than 0.2–0.3 units every 2 hours, with filtration running.
How to use pH minus powder

Measure your pool's pH.

Turn on the filtration system and measure the required amount of product.

Add the product to a container of warm water and dissolve it. Never add water directly to the product.

Distribute the solution evenly in the pool water along the walls, with no swimmers present. Avoid direct contact between the concentrated product and pool surfaces.

Check the pH again before making any further adjustments.

Safety precautions
DANGER: Causes serious eye damage.
Wear eye protection, avoid breathing dust and keep out of reach of children. Do not allow direct contact with pool liners, vinyl, polyester or painted surfaces, as discolouration may occur.
Keep the product tightly closed in its original container and store it in a cool, dry place.
If the product gets into your eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and immediately contact a poison centre or doctor.
